Horizons: An ItaFushi Zine is a zine dedicated to exploring the relationship between the characters Itadori Yuuji and Fushiguro Megumi from the anime/manga Jujutsu Kaisen. The zine plans to feature art, writing and merch with two sections showing the characters in both canon and AU settings.

F.A.Q.
Q: Will other characters be allowed?
A: Yes! Other characters may be included, although the focus of the contents should focus primarily on ItaFushi.
Q: Will there be manga spoilers?
A: Manga spoilers may be included in the canon portion of the zine, but all spoilers will be tagged in the final product. The AU portion of the zine should not contain any explicit manga spoilers, but may have references to events - these will also be tagged.
Q: Will other/background ships be allowed?
A: In order to ensure that the focus of the content remains on ItaFushi, background ships will not be explicitly allowed. If a contributor chooses to imply a relationship in the background, that is acceptable.
Q: Will triggering content be included?
A: Because we want this zine to be a comfortable experience for our audiences, the zine will only be allowing canon typical levels of violence. Because canon typical levels of violence can indeed be gory and triggering, all works in the zine will be tagged appropriately within the zine itself.
Q: Is previous experience required?
A: Applicants do not need to have previous zine experience to apply! As long as you are confident in your ability to create a new zine piece within the schedule, anybody may apply.
Q: Will you have different package levels for the zine?
A: Yes! We will be offering various bundles of the zine and merch during pre-orders.
Q: Will the zine be exclusively ItaFushi or will it also include FushiIta?
A: The zine will include both versions of the pairing, and all works will be properly tagged to reflect which version they depict.

Guidelines:
You must be 18+ to enter. Retweet the word search tweet, create your work and then fill out this google form.The creation period will last for four weeks, from January 28th to February 25th.Eight finalists will be selected by the mods of Itafushi Week and the Horizons Zine after February 25th.There will be two polls involving these finalists: one for written submissions (fics, threads, etc) and one for visual ones (art, cosplay, etc), so that anyone who loves the pairing can vote.All finalists will win a 10-20% discount on the Horizons zine, with the winners of the polls getting a free digital bundle.
Submission Requirements:
Submissions can be as polished or as rough as you want – we want to see the most imaginative interpretations!Entries may be shared publicly, for example on twitter or ao3, or submitted privately via google drive.Use the tags #SearchHorizons and #itfsweek2022 when posting on social media.If sharing via google drive, be aware that if you’re a finalist, this document will need to be made public in a ‘view only’ format to allow people to see it and vote accordingly.You may enter as many times as you like. For written submissions, the maximum total word count of entries combined is 3.5k words. There is no minimum word count.
NSFW Submissions
NSFW and ‘problematic’ creations are allowed, but please pay attention to these notes:The Horizons twitter is SFW. So, for an entry to be retweeted by that account, NSFW works should be edited. For example, NSFW art should be posted as a cropped SFW version, with a link to the full piece. And for threads and fics, the thread’s first tweet and the fic’s excerpt must be SFW with appropriate tagging.If entrants choose NOT to format entries this way, then please be aware that only Itafushi Week will retweet those submissions! The same applies to ‘problematic’ content.
Contributors to the Horizons zine are welcome to submit pieces and participate, but they will not be selected as finalists for the giveaway.
